Cheyenne named No. 1 for Cost of Doing Business in the Nation
Area Developmentmagazine's Feb. 2004 issue
has named Cheyenne, Wyoming the No. 1 location for manufacturing in the
category "Cost of Doing Business."
In the article titled "Hottest Manufacturing Metro Areas," Area
Development (Feb. 2004, pp. 36-40) said the following:
"Cost of Doing Business: The cost of doing
business is the quintessential measure for manufacturers when choosing
to expand or relocate. MSAs in Wyoming, Kentucky, Oregon and Oklahoma
rule the Top 10 with lowest cost of business in the United States.
"Cheyenne and .phper, Wyo., come in at numbers
one and two, with a rating of 73.77 and 74.19 percent, respectively."
